Design and educational intensive "Archipelago-24"

From July 8 to July 20, the annual design and educational intensive “Archipelago-24” was held in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, dedicated to the development and use of air and sea unmanned vehicles.

Almost 4 thousand people from all over Russia took part in the intensive course, which included expert sessions and practical exercises, including users, developers and sellers of unmanned vehicles, primarily domestic ones.

Employees of the Khabarovsk, Pacific and Sakhalin branches of the All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography (VNIRO) Alexander Dulenin, Dmitry Sokolenko and Anton Makoedov were invited to the event as speakers and made presentations on the use of underwater robots and drones in resource and hydrobiological research.

Following the presentations, a discussion was held with manufacturers of unmanned robotics, at which directions for the development of domestic robotic products were discussed.
