Fishing and Space: Domestic Science's Use of Digital Technologies for Remote Sensing of the Earth

In 2024, employees of the Pacific branch of the State Research Center of the Russian Federation "All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography" (VNIRO) took part in more than 17 conferences. One of them was the 22nd international conference "Modern Problems of Remote Sensing of the Earth from Space", which was held at the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Moscow).
 
Scientists specializing in the use of systems and software solutions for remote sensing of the planet exchanged current methods and research results with colleagues, discussed new approaches to solving practical problems.
 
Within the framework of the section "Remote Studies of Water Bodies", reports were presented by specialists from the Pacific and Sakhalin branches of VNIRO.
