A set of works on hydrobiological and hydrochemical studies was carried out along the route of the Midia, including the selection of the following indicators: water temperature on the surface and in the bottom layer, dissolved oxygen content and the percentage of its saturation at various depths. Measurements of standard parameters of the aquatic environment were also carried out, including: water transparency, depth and speed of current, types of bottom sediments (soils) and mineralization.
The collection of hydrobiological material consisted of sampling phytoplankton, zooplankton and zoobenthos, their further processing and obtaining their qualitative and quantitative characteristics. Currently, the collected material, as part of the Large Freshwater Expedition on the R/V Midia, has been delivered to the branch.
On June 9, the R/V Midia arrived at the mooring site (Republic of Tatarstan, Zaton village named after Kuibyshev).
The vessel Vladimir Uskov followed a parallel course with the R/V Midia, continuing a planned spring expedition to water bodies in the area of responsibility.
Currently, the m/v Vladimir Uskov is completing an expedition voyage to fulfill a state assignment on the Kuibyshev and Nizhnekamsk reservoirs.
