Scientific and educational cooperation between VNIRO and higher education institutions of the Rosrybolovstvo system

The key scientific center of the fisheries complex, the State Research Center of the Russian Federation “All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography” (VNIRO), is expanding cooperation with the country's leading universities. At the Central Institute and all of its 29 branches, students receive not only theoretical knowledge, but also practical skills by participating in real projects.
 
On July 15, a working group meeting was held at VNIRO via videoconference under the chairmanship of Deputy Director Evgeny Usolov. The group included representatives of the central institute and VNIRO branches, as well as the management of universities subordinate to Rosrybolovstvo.
 
The meeting discussed general organizational issues, including areas of joint activity, the form of implementation of these areas, the type of activity itself, as well as the distribution of areas among VNIRO branches with which interaction is necessary, based on the vector of scientific activity.
 
Cooperation between enterprises and universities makes training more effective. Young specialists are becoming more in demand on the labor market, and enterprises are finding promising employees and solving urgent production problems.
