The Director of VNIRO visited the Kamchatka branch and met with its staff

 

In his speech, the director of VNIRO touched upon the issues of personnel policy and remuneration. He reported on the measures taken by the management of VNIRO to develop the human resources potential of the branches, and to attract young specialists. Kirill Kolonchin also spoke about a major international conference planned for 2025, held at the site of SberUniversity, which will bring together the most authoritative experts in the industry, and where the most pressing issues of fisheries science will be discussed.

 

Kirill Kolonchin recalled that in 2024 VNIRO was awarded the status of a State Scientific Center of the Russian Federation, and this is an indicator of high trust on the part of the country's leadership, which must be justified by serious and responsible work. Addressing Kamchatka scientists, Kirill Viktorovich called for expanding the topics of scientific work and increasing interest in the research being conducted.
