The event was dedicated to a wide range of areas, the priority ones being the problems of water pollution, issues of environmental education of young people and prospects for solving urgent environmental problems.
Among the more than 100 participants of the Forum were representatives of regional authorities, scientific, educational organizations, volunteers and specialized specialists, including scientists from the Pacific branch of the State Research Center of the Russian Federation "All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography" (VNIRO).
The reports were presented by Svetlana Bogacheva, Head of the Department of Advanced Development and Expertise ("Assessment of the Ecological State of Water Bodies in Primorsky Krai") and Mikhail Simokon, Head of the Analytical Scientific Testing Laboratory of the Department of Safety and Technology of Raw Materials Processing and Development ("Toxic Elements in the Ichthyofauna of Lake Khanka, Primorsky Krai").
The Environmental Forum is a platform for live communication between government officials, experts and practitioners in matters of environmental monitoring, education and enlightenment. On this platform, environmentalists can share experiences and expand their circle of professional friendly acquaintances. The country's strategic security is impossible without preserving natural resources and using them wisely.
