According to satellite tags installed on animals, both orcas, released on June 26, remain together.

Once outside, the orcas passed into the Academy Bay, hunted down there (based on  the characteristic yaws), then went to the Uda Bay, where they continued to hunt for three days. Then they moved north along the mainland coast of the Sea of Okhotsk and reached the area north of the Ayan village. On July 10, the animals turned around and went in the opposite direction, to the south. For a while they were in a small  Borisov Bay, south of the Ayan village, then proceeded to the south and as of July 12 they were at the latitude of the northern coast of Big Shantar Island, between the island and the mainland.

These places are traditional for orcas. However, it is not yet known whether the two animals managed to join any wild family of relatives or they hunt independently.

According to the satellite tag attached to one of the released belugas, in recent days it has been located in the Academy Bay area.

As for the three orcas released on July 16, they also keep together and are still in the area of Cape Perovsky.
