From the technical procedure of reloading, it turned into a real citywide celebration: despite the torrential rain, representatives of government, business, youth organizations, amateur fishermen and caring citizens gathered on the shore.
Specialists from the Ural Branch of the National Research Center of the Russian Federation "All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography" (VNIRO) played a key role in the success of the event: they calculated the receiving capacity of the reservoir, which made it possible to determine the safe number of juveniles and maintain the balance of the ecosystem.
Kirill Ershov, the head of the branch, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. For many citizens, the holiday was not only an occasion to learn more about the ecology of their native land, but also an opportunity to feel their involvement in an important cause. The event clearly demonstrated how the joint efforts of science, administration and society help to preserve water resources and develop the urban environment.
