The event was attended by the heads and staff of the institution, government representatives, as well as delegates from public and educational organizations of the Khabarovsk Territory.
"Amurarium", created in 2005, became the first public exhibition in Russia dedicated to the richness of the aquatic world of the Amur Basin — its fish and other inhabitants. After a long break, the complex is ready to welcome guests again.
Thanks to the partners, we managed to preserve a unique collection of living exhibits and continue important educational work: to talk about the diversity and biology of Amur fish, about the ecology of the river and how science helps to protect nature.
In the near future, "Amurarium" is waiting for young visitors from kindergartens and schools, as well as anyone who wants to get to know the amazing world of Amur more closely.
