The enterprise is one of the key sites in the Urals for the cultivation and reproduction of fish and the largest supplier of fish planting material in the region. For more than ten years, the company has been stocking water bodies in the Chelyabinsk and Sverdlovsk regions, supplying carp, white amur, silver carp, and other fish.
Bonitering is a detailed, individual assessment of fish: specialists record the weight, length, physiological state, sex, and reproductive readiness. Special attention is paid to autumn bonitering: it helps to select the best spawning individuals, assess the condition of the stock, and adjust breeding plans. One of the most important stages is determining the age of the fish: in carp and other cyprinids, it is established by examining the scales.
Based on the results of the work, an official protocol is drawn up — based on it, data on the stocks are entered into the federal register. This confirms the quality of the brood stocks, gives the enterprise the right to participate in fish farming support programs, and guarantees customers the stability of the characteristics of the planting material.
For the region, such studies are not just a formality, but a practical foundation for sustainable fish farming: accurate knowledge of the condition and age of the spawning stock makes it possible to properly plan spawning campaigns, increase the survival rate of young fish, and effectively replenish fish stocks in water bodies.
