The company's specialists presented their developments in the field of commercial sonar technology — multipath echo sounders, trawl sonars and side-view sonars. The meeting participants outlined joint steps: testing and trial operation of equipment on ships of the VNIRO Research Fleet Base.
Special attention was paid to the prospects of creating domestic horizontal sensing systems, which will help assess the abundance of Pacific salmon in freshwater facilities in the Far East.
The use of Russian sonar technologies will open up new opportunities for assessing the reserves of aquatic biological resources in the region and strengthen the independence of scientific research by relying on domestic innovative solutions.
