On March 13, the II educational forum "Leaders in AGRO 2026" was held at the Dubovsky Veterinary College named after Hero of the Soviet Union A.A. Sharov, bringing together representatives of fisheries science, specialists in fish farming, teachers and students.

One of the invited speakers was Nikolay Kutsenko, Deputy Head of the Srednevolzhsky branch of the SSC RF "All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography" (VNIRO). The event was dedicated to the prospects for the development of the fishing industry in the Volgograd region and the involvement of qualified specialists in the industry.

During the open discussion platform, the speakers outlined the key vectors of fisheries development: the introduction of innovative approaches to improve the efficiency of aquaculture, the creation of favorable conditions for infrastructure development and a systematic increase in commercial fish production, which will create demand for qualified personnel. This means that today's students are guaranteed to demand their knowledge and skills in the very near future.

The lively dialogue proved to be as useful as possible for future specialists: the guys received not just theory, but a clear understanding of practical plans for the development of the industry and inspiration for further professional growth.
