The development of domestic fish farming requires the creation of fish farming complexes and technologies based on modern scientific and technological advances. Combining knowledge in the field of aquaculture enables the successful development of one of the most promising areas – industrial fish farming.
This work presents the results of selected studies conducted by the sturgeon breeding and acclimatization laboratory of the branch in the field of fisheries development of sturgeon species.
This article examines the formation and management of broodstock in industrial fish farms to produce caviar, high-quality seed, and commercial products. Calculations are provided for all aspects of fisheries management in direct-flow fish farms with an average annual heat sum of 5,600 degree days and recirculating aquaculture systems.
The publication of this monograph was an important event in the scientific community and another step towards ensuring high-quality fisheries operations. The publication is intended for fisheries specialists, sturgeon breeders, and researchers, and can be used in educational settings.
