New edition of VNIRO

The Freshwater Fisheries Branch of the All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography (VNIRO) has published its 96th collection of scientific papers, titled "Current Issues in Freshwater Aquaculture."
 
The new issue is dedicated to the most important issues and current research trends in the field of reproduction and sustainable development of freshwater aquaculture. The collection includes original articles and papers by the branch's scientists, covering a wide range of topics, from the implementation of innovative biotechnologies to addressing pressing environmental challenges.
 
The topics presented include research on cryopreservation of sturgeon biomaterial, problems of artificial reproduction of rare species such as the Sakhalin sturgeon, the development of new morphometric methods for studying fish structure and development, feed optimization for juvenile valuable species, and environmental monitoring of water bodies such as the Novomichurinskoye Reservoir, the Voronezh River, and the upper reaches of the Dnieper River.
