The Magadan branch of VNIRO has begun an internal reporting session on the results of research work carried out in 2025

Specialists from the Magadan branch of the All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography (VNIRO) began their work at the Reporting Session on the results of research completed in 2025.
 
During the first day of the meeting, presentations were made by specialists and heads of laboratories, as well as research groups studying marine fish bioresources and mammals in the waters of the northern Sea of ​​Okhotsk.
 
"The traditional annual reporting session will be held over several days, from January 26 to 28, 2026," noted Evgeny Metelev, head of the branch, addressing the participants and audience. A total of 16 presentations are planned on current topics in fisheries research in the Magadan Region and adjacent waters.
 
Following the discussion, the most significant and interesting reports will be presented at an open Reporting Session scheduled for February 5. Representatives of executive authorities, heads of fishing enterprises, and associations are invited.
