The scientists developed a technology for producing environmentally friendly products from marine plant materials (red and brown algae) in the form of biofertilizers and biostimulants for agriculture.
The EcoMir International Environmental Competition has been held annually by the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences (RANS) since 2003. Its key goal is to foster modern environmental thinking and promote the importance of the personal contribution of every person on earth to preserving life on earth. The competition is held in 11 categories, covering various areas of environmental activity: from biodiversity conservation to environmental technologies and ecotourism development.
The awards ceremony took place on February 6 at the Central House of Scientists of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. Representatives of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, research institutes, universities, and businesses from 26 countries participated.
