VNIRO at an international conference at the Timiryazev Academy

 

Specialists from the Central Institute and virtually all branches of the All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography (VNIRO) participated in the conference, demonstrating their extensive geographic reach and broad scope of work.

 

The presentations by VNIRO scientists in Section 4, "Aquaculture and Fisheries," covered key issues in fisheries, aquaculture, and the conservation of aquatic bioresources from Lake Baikal to the Sea of ​​Azov and from the Moscow Region to the Far East. Their presentations demonstrated the coordinated work of the institute's branches and its focus on solving applied problems in the rational use of Russia's aquatic biological resources.

 

Abstracts of the papers will be published as short communications in special issues of the peer-reviewed scientific journal, the Timiryazev Biological Journal (https://www.bioscience-journal.com/journal).
