From June 29 to July 16, a team of scientists conducted comprehensive studies to assess in detail the state of the aquatic ecosystem.
In the bays of Parta, Kova and Nizhnyaya Rechka, specialists carried out measurements of key hydrological and hydrochemical indicators: water temperature and transparency, dissolved oxygen content and pH level. At the same time, material was collected for the analysis of the fish's food supply — samples of zoobenthos, zooplankton and phytoplankton. Special attention was paid to the study of the ichthyofauna: scientists took samples of perch, roach, pike and bream, conducted a complete biological analysis, performed mass measurements, took recording structures (scales) and fertility samples.
The collected data will become the basis for calculating the recommended catch volumes and the total allowable catch of fish in the reservoir. This will help ensure a balanced use of aquatic biological resources and maintain the stability of the reservoir ecosystem.
