Maria Vladimirovna Sytova has been engaged in scientific research since 2000. She has conducted research on the comprehensive utilization of sturgeon and developed technologies for processing underutilized secondary raw materials from sturgeon, which have been formalized into regulatory documents.

In the field of technological standardization, M.V. Sytova developed draft long-term and annual work plans for VNIRO, supervised the development of technical specifications, methodological and work programs, and conducted research on standardizing the natural loss of fish and non-fish products. She has been an expert in fish certification for over 25 years.
Since 2009, she has served as Secretary of the Industry Council. M.V. Sytova participates in Russian and international scientific conferences and symposia.
Marina Vladimirovna has published over 130 scientific papers, including 5 monographs, 13 educational and methodological works, 2 patents, and 1 certificate of official registration of a computer program.
Dmitry Aleksandrovich Vasiliev has worked at VNIRO for over thirty-nine years, rising from a junior research fellow to the head of the consolidated forecast department. His main focus in fisheries science is developing recommendations for the commercial exploitation of marine bioresources based on the creation and application of modeling approaches to assessing the state of stock-fishery systems.

D.A. Vasiliev supervised the department's research. Over the years, he has personally contributed to the development of stock assessment methods and recommendations for fishery prospects for a number of key domestic fisheries (Barents Sea cod and haddock, herring and blue whiting in the Northeast Atlantic, etc.). The TISVPA model family developed by D.A. Vasiliev has been implemented in working groups of the International Council for the Exploration of the Sea (ICES) and other organizations.
As the author of over 150 scientific papers, including methodological recommendations and five monographs, Dmitry Alexandrovich is an active publisher in the field of model analysis of aquatic bioresources. A doctoral dissertation and two candidate dissertations have been successfully defended under his supervision.
D.A. Vasiliev has authored three certificates of official registration for computer programs designed to assess the stock status of commercial fish, particularly sturgeon. From 2012 to the present, he has been a member of the Editorial Board of the scientific journal "Proceedings of VNIRO."
The management and staff of VNIRO congratulate Marina Vladimirovna and Dmitry Alexandrovich and wish them new professional victories and achievements!
