A delegation from the All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography (VNIRO) participated in a seminar for SCO countries, "Aquaculture Development and Climate Change," held in Wuxi, China.

Following the seminar, participants visited the Heilongjiang Fisheries Research Institute and its experimental sites in Harbin and Mudanjiang, where they learned about the technology for cultivating carp, herbivorous, and predatory fish, including trout, based on high-intensity aquaculture principles in the face of global climate change.

At the end of the session, participants exchanged views on developing common strategic approaches to aquaculture development in the face of global climate change.
