The discussion brought together representatives of the ministries of the Chelyabinsk region, Nizhneobsky TU Rosrybolovstvo, supervisory authorities, fish farming enterprises and science.
The participants focused on the industry's bottlenecks — the cultivation of planting material and the organization of receiving tanks. We discussed separately the control over the work of enterprises and the search for stable financing.
The key conclusion of the meeting was that in order for measures to replenish biological resources to produce sustainable results, regular work is needed, not one—time activity, and interdepartmental coordination is essential.
Kirill Yershov, Head of the Ural Branch of the SSC RF "All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography" (VNIRO), made an important contribution to the discussion: he presented a scientific position on technological and organizational issues.
