As a result of the hard and well—coordinated work of specialists, over 53 million pieces of larvae and embryos of carp and carp have been obtained - an indicator that is about 10% of the total Russian demand for planting material for carp farming.
This volume is not just a figure, but the result of strict compliance with technological regulations, control of the parameters of the aquatic environment and the application of scientifically sound approaches to reproduction. Special attention was paid to the selection of producers, the synchronization of spawning periods and the maintenance of optimal conditions for the development of embryos, which made it possible to achieve a consistently high percentage of viable juveniles.
The received material has already been transferred to customers: it has been received by more than 30 fish farms located in 16 regions of the Russian Federation, as well as partners from the Republic of Uzbekistan. The wide geography of supplies underlines the demand for Yakoti products and the growing confidence of industry enterprises in the quality of planting materials produced on the basis of the VNIRO scientific and production site.
The implemented measures make a significant contribution to increasing the fish productivity of carp farms, both domestically and internationally. Increasing the volume of reproduction allows not only to meet the current needs of the industry, but also to create a reserve for further expansion of commercial fish production.
The results of the campaign clearly demonstrate the effectiveness of the technologies used in the branch and emphasize the importance of VNIRO's scientific and production activities for the development of domestic fish farming and strengthening the country's food security.
