Junior researcher at the Laboratory of Commercial Invertebrates of VNIRO

Defended his PhD thesis on "Comparative morphology and anatomy of squid gladiuses of the family Ommastrephidae"

1993-1999

Organized and led VNIRO resource studies of squid in the Bering Sea, as a result of which the Commander's squid stock was estimated and its exploitation started in the Bering Sea 

He has consistently held the positions of junior, senior and leading researcher in the Laboratory of commercial invertebrates and algae.

Worked as a scientific observer in the Fisheries Department of the Falkland Islands

Since 2002he resumed work at VNIRO.
