The meeting was attended personally by 271 participants from 13 countries, a total of 347 people (together with those who participate in the online format), including representatives of the Russian delegation, 111 young scientists and specialists, representatives of 21 international/regional organizations and programs. There were meetings of 17 expert groups and 7 meetings of Committees, a Financial and Administrative Committee, a Symposium of the Scientific Council, 8 Thematic sessions, 4 sessions of reports, 9 working groups, 170 oral reports, 8 invited reports, 68 poster reports.
Members of the Russian delegation, consisting of specialists from the Central Office of the VNIRO Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution, the Pacific Branch of the VNIRO Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution (TINRO), as well as the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, participated in the work of PIKES in full-time and online formats, presented oral reports.
From September 30 to October 2, meetings of the Scientific and Governing Councils of PIKES are held in a hybrid format (face-to-face and virtual), at which issues of the organization's scientific activities are considered, as well as decisions are made regarding the administrative, financial and strategic management of PIKES.
The next annual meeting of PIQUES will be held from October 20 to 29, 2023 in Seattle, USA.
