On July 16, the chief specialist of the aquaculture sector of the Khabarovsk branch of the All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography (VNIRO) Zh.S. Litovchenko, as part of the Russian delegation, took part in the release of juvenile sturgeon species from fish hatcheries in Tongjiang, China.
 
Activities for the joint release of juvenile sturgeon in the border waters of the Amur River are carried out in accordance with decisions made during the joint Russian-Chinese Commission on Cooperation in the Field of Fisheries. According to information from the Chinese side, the volume of release into the Amur River amounted to 425 thousand copies. juvenile Amur sturgeon and 100 specimens. Kaluga at the age of 2-4 years.
