The Director of VNIRO, Doctor of Economics Kirill Kolonchin told Petr Burak about the activities of VNIRO, its achievements and work plans. It was also noted about the main events of the current year - the assignment of the status of the State Research Center of the Russian Federation and the start of the Great African Expedition, which will be the largest scientific study of marine bioresources in the Atlantic and Indian Oceans off the coast of Africa.
Petr Iosifovich visited the VNIRO laboratory complex and talked with scientists who spoke about the scientific achievements of employees in the field of research into the population-genetic organization of commercial fish and invertebrate species and showed the work of the experimental complexes of the institute, where work is carried out on growing sturgeon and other valuable fish and invertebrate species in both fresh and sea water. At the same time, the scientists spoke about the features of laboratory equipment and promising work.
In turn, Petr Burak thanked Kirill Kolonchin for the warm welcome and presented him with his monograph "Largest Cities: Economy and Management Organization".
