Zoobenthos (chironomid larvae) samples were collected using a Petersen bottom grab with a capture area of 1/40 m2, 1-2 soil excavations at each station with subsequent washing through a No. 23 gas sieve. The samples were fixed in 4% formalin. Sampling was carried out using generally accepted methods.

Ichthyological samples were collected using 4 fixed nets, each 90 m long, 1.8 m and 5 m high. The mesh size of the nets was 40, 50 and 60 mm. Ichthyological material from commercial catches during industrial fishing was also analyzed, with the catch being carried out using 2 fixed nets, each 90 m long, 1.5 m high, with a mesh size of 15 mm. The species composition of the catches: roach, bleak, crucian carp, freshwater perch.
