The average ten-day temperature was 10.2 ° C, which is 0.2 ° C higher than in this period in 2023. The water level is at around 225 cm, in 2023 - 224 cm. Relative to the average long-term values, the water level in the Volga River at the Astrakhan water point is at a mark below the long-term "norm" by 47 cm, the water temperature is lower by 0.4 ° C.
According to information received from observers at the fishery, in the past ten days, generally small volumes of commercial catches of semi-anadromous and river fish were noted.
In the west of the Volga River delta front, on the Main Bank, in the coastal fishing zone, crucian carp predominated in the catches of secrets (about 60%) and pike was in second place in terms of catch (33%), carp, rudd, perch, bream, asp were also present. The average catch per secret did not exceed 1 kg, for comparison, in the autumn season of 2023, the average catch was 3 kg / secret.
In the river fishing zone in the west of the delta, pike perch predominated in fishing areas (about 75%), the average catch was 400 kg / sinking, also in relatively small volumes were caught: catfish, carp, bream, asp, crucian carp.
In the east of the Volga River delta, on the Karaysky bank, in the coastal fishing zone, the catch of secrets was dominated by rudd (about 60%), also in relatively small, almost equal amounts were caught: catfish, carp, crucian carp, pike, bream, and occasionally perch, tench, and vimba. The average catch per secret was 15 kg.
In the river fishing zone in the east of the Volga River delta, the catches are low - crucian carp predominated, in places asp, catfish, bream, pike perch, pike, and carp were found.
