First meeting of the Youth Council of Rosrybolovstvo

On March 30, at the exhibition-forum “Russia” at VDNKh, the first meeting of the Youth Council of the Federal Agency for Fisheries took place.
 
The Youth Council of Rosrybolovstvo will be engaged in improving personnel policy, forming internal and external interdepartmental communications, developing and implementing projects that are socially significant for the department. The youth council included 55 employees of various territorial departments of Rosrybolovstvo and subordinate organizations. Alexandra Sumkina and Pavel Emelin became members of the council from the All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography (VNIRO).
 
As part of the program organized by the Russian Society “Knowledge”, a team-building quiz game and a performance by Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Dmitry Kharatyan were held. The moderator of this event was the Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Press of VNIRO Ekaterina Seromakha.
 
The head of Rosrybolovstvo, Ilya Shestakov, in his video message congratulated the council members on the start of their work: “The industry is currently undergoing large-scale modernization - this is an important incentive: good working conditions, high wages, career prospects. Let support for young professionals, mentoring and career prospects always be on the agenda.”
 
The meeting of the Youth Council was chaired by the Deputy Head of Rosrybolovstvo, Andrey Yakovlev. He acted as a moderator and participant in the panel session “The ecosystem of youth policy in the Russian Federation, best practices of youth councils of federal executive authorities,” at which representatives of Rosmolodezh, Rosreestr, the Federal Tax Service and the SFR also shared their experience.
 
At the meeting, the procedure for selecting a chairman and discussing existing problems requiring the participation of the Youth Council of the Federal Agency for Fisheries took place.
