Senior researcher of the Nizhny Novgorod branch Alexander Bugrov, having caught five carp weighing 3.2 kg, did not leave the slightest chance for victory to his rivals and won first place in the II stage of the Championship. In the last minutes of the competition, Daniil Shevchuk, a junior specialist of the Saratov branch, caught a fish weighing 0.660 kg, thereby pushing Salavat Mukhametkhanov, head of the recreational sport fishing department of the Freshwater Fisheries Branch, to third place on the podium with a catch weighing 0.625 kg.
