The aim of the work was to collect biological data on the state of the whitefish population. In addition, bycatch studies were conducted, including such species as pike, ide, perch, burbot and other fish species.

During the work, 174 whitefish specimens were caught, including 124 females and 50 males. Biological characteristics of the fish were determined.

The collected material will be used to assess the number of aquatic bioresources, prepare forecast materials, substantiate the raw material base of fisheries, and develop measures to regulate fisheries.
