The hearings were attended by representatives of the public, the Pskov branch of VNIRO, and representatives of the authorized body - the Committee on Natural Resources and Ecology of the Pskov Region. In addition, all interested parties were given the opportunity to participate using remote interaction tools.
The head of the branch, Sergei Mikhalap, made a report, substantiating the amount of the total allowable catch of aquatic biological resources in water bodies of the Pskov Region.
Following the discussion, the presented materials, in terms of the completeness of their reflection of quantitative and qualitative indicators of the projected extraction of aquatic biological resources, were assessed positively. The participants in the hearings recommended approving the "Materials substantiating the total permissible catch of aquatic biological resources in Lake Peipus and other (small) water bodies of the Pskov Region for 2026 (including an environmental impact assessment)" in the presented volumes.
