From July 22 to July 26 and from August 12 to August 18, 2024, employees of the Altai branch of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution "VNIRO" ("AltaiNIRO"), as part of the implementation of a state contract concluded with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Altai Territory, for the provision of services for the event "Survey of water bodies, determination of optimal ways of using water bodies, assessment of the possibility of creating fishing or fish farming areas. Development of a fish farming and biological justification and a technological scheme for managing fisheries. Drawing up a passport of a water body" carried out comprehensive work to collect materials on water bodies of the Zavyalovsky and Rebrikhinsky districts of the Altai Territory.
During the work, reconnaissance and morphometric studies were carried out on 10 water bodies (6 reservoirs in the Rebrikhinsky district, 4 reservoirs in the Zavyalovsky district), the water and thermal regime of the reservoirs, the species composition of the local ichthyofauna were studied, hydrobiological, hydrochemical and ichthyological samples were collected.
After processing and analyzing the collected material, recommendations will be prepared for the integrated fishery melioration of reservoirs in order to increase their fish productivity and create conditions for stocking with the most promising objects of commercial cultivation (valuable fish species and their hybrids).
