Representatives of COPMAR spoke about the activities of the association and possible cooperation in breeding and production of products from mariculture facilities.
TINRO scientists presented the Institute's modern achievements in the creation of technologies for processing marine hydrobionts.
The Peruvians expressed interest in the results of the work of Russian fisheries science in the production of seaweed products (fertilizers and food), as well as in the rich experience of Russian scientists in the cultivation and complex processing of mariculture objects.
As a result of the meeting, it was decided to form a draft program for cooperation between the fisheries organizations of Peru and the All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography. Within the framework of the program, it will be possible to carry out cooperation in the field of fisheries on issues of interest to both sides.
