Currently, their stocks are replenished mainly through the work of spawning and nursery farms (SNF), which are the main spawning grounds for these fish species.
From July 1 to 4, the Aquaculture Center of the Azov-Black Sea branch of the State Research Center of the Russian Federation "All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography" (VNIRO) conducted another expedition as part of the state monitoring of the activities of artificial reproduction enterprises on SNF in the Krasnodar Territory.
Field material was collected at three farms: Beysugsky, Vostochno-Akhtarsky and Chernoerkovsky. At the moment, juvenile semi-anadromous pike-perch and roach migrate there from the spawning grounds of their producers to the Sea of Azov.
During the expedition, specialists collected the necessary material to assess the condition of the juveniles at the migration stage. Data on their size and weight characteristics, physiological condition and quantity in the studied water bodies were obtained. To assess the state of the environment, water samples were taken for hydrochemical analysis, information on the hydrological parameters of the environment was collected. Quantitative and qualitative analysis of the food supply of juvenile fish will be carried out based on the results of a study of zooplankton samples in the estuaries under consideration.
The results of office processing of the materials obtained in the field will allow an analysis of the efficiency of the farms in the current year, and will serve as the basis for developing scientific recommendations for optimizing the technological process of replenishing the populations of these valuable species of aquatic bioresources.
