The event brought together participants from branches across the country, who became winners of the stages held in each fishery basin.
The venue was the Upper Reach of the Tsimlyansk Reservoir, located in the Kalachevsky District of the Volgograd Region. Fishing was carried out from boats using spinning gear. The duration of the competition was three hours.
Each of the participants was determined only to win, but their real rival was nature itself with its whims, which is why the search for fish wealth was a serious task. Excitement and excitement were in the air. Who will be the first? Who will be able to catch the biggest fish? These questions kept everyone in suspense until the last minute of the competition, or rather until the results were counted.
Following the results of the competition, the prize places were distributed as follows: first place went to Dmitry Krivolutsky from the Krasnoyarsk branch, second place went to Dmitry Mashanov from the Baikal branch, and third place went to Alexander Bugrov, the only representative from the European part of Russia, representing the branch from Nizhny Novgorod.
As a result, all participants were presented with memorable souvenirs: employees who took prize places received cups and checks for a cash amount, while the rest of the participants received memorable diplomas.
This event became a vivid example of the unity of the employees of the All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography based on their love for fishing and active recreation in nature.
