Stocking of reservoirs of the Chelyabinsk and Sverdlovsk regions with fish

On October 21, Lake Sinara (Sinarskoye) and the Magnitogorsk Reservoir in the Chelyabinsk Region were stocked with fish.

Specialists from the Ural branch of the Russian State Research Center of Fisheries and Oceanography (VNIRO) participated in the commission to count the released fish. Young of the year white amur and carp were released into the Sinara waters.

The Magnitogorsk Reservoir was replenished with 115,000 carp and 3,500 pike perch weighing at least 20.0 grams (this is the weight at which the grown fry can survive in a new environment). The census of the released fry took place in the city of Magnitogorsk, on the territory of the Lukomorye recreation park.

On October 22, specialists from the branch also took part in the commission to count the young carp released into the Shershnevskoye Reservoir. The fish were grown and delivered to the reservoir by the enterprise FSUE "National Fish Resources".

At the same time, in the Sverdlovsk region, the Verkhne-Sysertsky pond was stocked with fish, into which more than 67 thousand carp fry were released.
