The head of the Magadan branch of VNIRO took part in a meeting of the Presidium of the Council of Regions of the Russian Geographical Society

Last week, the Magadan Regional Library named after A.S. Pushkin hosted a visiting meeting of the Presidium of the Council of Regions of the Russian Geographical Society (RGS), where they discussed the further development of the Magadan Regional Branch and talked about major regional projects.
 
The meeting was chaired by the First Deputy Executive Director of the RGS, Sergei Korlykhanov. The members of the Presidium included the Chairman of the Magadan Regional Branch, Alexander Nesterovich, members of the regional branch, and invited guests from other regions.
 
The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Magadan Region, Maxim Brodkin, Senator from the Magadan Region in the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, Anatoly Shirokov, and the head of the Magadan branch of the All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography (VNIRO), Evgeny Metelev.
