The Ural branch of VNIRO conducted a number of expedition trips

In the period from 15.07.2024 to 19.07.2024, specialists from the Ural branch of the All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography (VNIRO) carried out an expedition to the Shegultan and Taltiya rivers of the Sverdlovsk region as part of the Industrial Environmental Monitoring Program for the impact of the activities of JSC Svyatogor on the state of aquatic bioresources and their habitat.

From 22 to 30 July, as part of a state assignment to study the ichthyofauna of Lake Karagayskoye in the Verkhneuralsky District of the Chelyabinsk Region, specialists from the aquatic bioresources laboratory collected hydrobiological samples (phytoplankton, zooplankton and zoobenthos), as well as fishing with fixed nets. The caught fish underwent a full biological analysis.

In the period from 22.07.2024 to 26.07.2024, the branch staff carried out an expedition to the Nizhne-Kachkanarskoye Reservoir. During the work, scientific research fishing of ichthyological material was carried out in order to determine the composition of the ichthyofauna and biological characteristics of fish populations.

In the period from 30.07.2024 to 31.07.2024, an expedition was carried out by the branch staff to the Reftinskoye Reservoir in the Sverdlovsk Region and to the Shirokiy Dol and Kholodny streams of the Ashinsky urban district of the Chelyabinsk Region.
