VNIRO Director Kirill Kolonchin congratulated the team on the New Year

On the eve of the New Year, a ceremonial meeting dedicated to summing up the results of the outgoing year was held at the State Scientific Center of the Russian Federation "All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography" (VNIRO).

Opening the event, VNIRO Director, Doctor of Economics Kirill Kolonchin thanked the entire VNIRO team for their work, which creates the basis for the sustainable development of the country's fisheries complex.

"The achievements of VNIRO scientists for both the industry and the country as a whole, and the high research potential of the institute allowed us to achieve great heights this year, namely, to receive the status of a State Research Center. Also, thanks to VNIRO, the largest international research project has been launched - the Great African Expedition, and this is a huge amount of work by our specialists!" - noted the Director of VNIRO.

Kirill Kolonchin congratulated everyone on the upcoming New Year! He wished them good health, family warmth and well-being!

The meeting ended with a ceremonial awarding of VNIRO employees whose creative work is aimed at the prosperity of the industry.
