STF «Atlantida» continues the transition to the port of Kaliningrad. However, the direction of the waves and the wind was favorable, and the weather did not cause any major inconvenience. It didn’t last long - only about 10 minutes - and disappeared as fast as it did.
A vessel recently crossed the southern tropics and is now in tropical latitudes. There are quite a few flying fish that can be seen directly from aboard.
Today the weather has improved considerably, the water temperature is over 28 °C, the air warms up to 30 °C during the day.
The Scientific Group is continuing to prepare a voyage report. Research work is under way and observations of seabirds and mammals are being made along the way.
As of April 12, along with the search works, the ship has passed 1414 nautical miles.
