Modern achievements in the field of cryobiology make it possible to solve practical problems of aquaculture development and conservation of biodiversity of aquatic biological resources. Cryopreservation technologies for fish reproductive products and their low-temperature gene banks are necessary for long-term preservation of genomes and further use of heterozygotes in populations of restored species.
