From April 21 to May 2, specialists from the Altai branch of the Russian State Research Center “All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography” (VNIRO) conducted research on hyperhaline reservoirs in 7 administrative districts of the Altai Territory.

In the West Kamchatka subzone, the specialized Pacific herring fishery has ended. The permitted period for catching (harvesting) the Gizhiginsko-Kamchatka herring population from 2025 is set from April 10 to 30.
