On November 12, 2025, a meeting of the Volga-Kama Scientific and Industrial Council was held in Izhevsk, chaired by Vasily Sokolov, Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for Fisheries.

Scientists from the Russian State Research Center of Fisheries and Oceanography (VNIRO) participated in the 26th All-Russian Scientific Conference "Conservation of Biodiversity in Kamchatka and Adjacent Seas," which was held on November 12-13 in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

From November 5th to 7th, the international conference "Protection, Reproduction, and Rational Use of Wildlife Resources" was held at the Timiryazev Moscow State Agricultural Academy of Russia. The event was dedicated to the 160th anniversary of the Department of Zoology and Comparative Anatomy.

As part of a working visit to China, a delegation from the Russian State Research Center of Fisheries and Oceanography (VNIRO), including Evgeny Darinov, Deputy Director and Head of the Tyumen Branch; Arsen Mirzoyan, Deputy Director and Head of the Azov-Black Sea Branch; Alexey Gaidukov, Director of the Russian-Chinese Cooperation Center; and Manuchar Sharii, Head of the Department of the Innovative Scientific and Technological Park for the Fisheries Industry, visited the Zhejiang Provincial Marine Resources Development Institute (PRC).

Innopark VNIRO participated in a business mission to Guangzhou, China, as part of a delegation of Moscow companies. The event, which took place from October 31 to November 2, 2025, marked an important step in promoting innovative Russian products in this key Asian market.

On November 7, the second meeting of the bilateral Working Group on Scientific Cooperation in Aquaculture was held in Harbin, China, between the Russian State Research Center "All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography" (VNIRO) and the Heilongjiang Fisheries Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Fisheries Sciences (HAR).

On November 6, 2025, a delegation from the All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography (VNIRO), consisting of Yevgeny Darinov, Deputy Director and Head of the Tyumen Branch; Arsen Mirzoyan, Deputy Director and Head of the Azov-Black Sea Branch; Alexey Gaidukov, Director of the Center for Russian-Chinese Cooperation; and Manuchar Sharii, Head of the Department of the Innovative Scientific and Technological Park for the Fisheries Industry, paid a working visit to Zhejiang Province, China, where they held business talks with the leadership of Zhejiang Ocean University.

In the presence of members of the West Baltic Territorial Administration commission and client representatives, the Atlantic Branch of the Russian State Research Center "All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography" (VNIRO) carried out the second release of juvenile whitefish into the Curonian Lagoon this year.

Only systematic field studies provide a comprehensive and reliable picture of aquatic life.

The 39th meeting of Russian and Japanese specialists and scientists on the study of salmon, saury, mackerel, sardine, and other fish species, as well as squid, their stock status, and sustainable use, has concluded.
