During the period from June 23 to 25, during in-kind hydrobiological studies at the Isetskoye Reservoir, specialists from the Ural branch of the Russian State Research Center of Fisheries and Oceanography (VNIRO) for the first time in the Middle Urals identified a large stable population of the American signal crayfish (Pacifastacus leniusculus) in the warm water discharge zone of the Sredneuralskaya GRES.
At the end of this month, specialists from the Middle Volga branch of the State Research Center of the Russian Federation “All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography” (VNIRO) took part in the work of the commission of the Volga-Caspian Territorial Administration of the Federal Agency for Fisheries, which monitors the implementation of work on the artificial reproduction of aquatic biological resources.
In May, in the northern part of the Sea of ​​Okhotsk, industrial fishing of gastropods (whelks) traditionally begins, since the most productive area for whelk fishing in the waters of the Russian Far East is located here. Sockeye salmon census using computer vision

Experimental research work on the automation of the assessment of the number of sockeye salmon spawners using computer vision is carried out at the fish counting fence (FCF) at the source of the Ozernaya River (Lake Kurilskoye).
