On November 8, specialists from the Ural branch of the Russian State Research Center “All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography” (VNIRO) took part in the planned events of the Commission of the Lower Ob Territorial Administration of the Federal Agency for Fisheries, which monitors the implementation of work on the artificial reproduction of aquatic biological resources as part of the implementation of compensation measures.
The fleet of the Tyumen branch of the Russian State Research Center of Fisheries and Oceanography (VNIRO) has completed navigation. The vessels are currently moored and undergoing scheduled repairs.
The reduction in the volume of freshwater runoff and the increase in the salinity of the Azov Sea are accompanied by a profound restructuring of hydrobiocenoses, the composition and abundance of various ecological groups of ichthyofauna.
In early November, specialists from the Pskov branch of the Russian State Research Center “All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography” (VNIRO) took part in the planned events of the Commission of the North-West Territorial Administration of the Federal Agency for Fisheries, which monitors the implementation of work on the artificial reproduction of aquatic biological resources as part of the implementation of compensation measures.
Small-mouth smelt is a valuable commercial species for which a recommended catch volume is established.
Employees of the Volgograd branch of the State Research Center of the Russian Federation "All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography" (VNIRO) are actively involved in the work of the commission for monitoring the stocking of natural reservoirs with artificially bred juveniles.
From June to September, specialists from the Polar Branch of the Russian State Research Center “All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography” (VNIRO) Oleg Goltsev and Evgeny Roshchin conducted research on fishing trawlers.
From October 28 to November 4, as part of the commission of the Nizhneobsk territorial administration for the implementation of state control, supervision, protection of aquatic bioresources and their habitat in the Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk regions, specialists from the Ural branch of the Russian State Research Center of Fisheries and Oceanography (VNIRO) took part in stocking 10 water bodies.
