Annual winter trawl acoustic survey

The research vessel of the Polar Branch of the Russian State Research Center “All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography” (VNIRO) “Vilnyus” has set off on an annual winter expedition, where it will conduct a trawl-acoustic survey of fish and commercial invertebrates in the exclusive economic zone of Russia in the Barents Sea.
On January 30, the St. Petersburg branch of the State Scientific Center of the Russian Federation "All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography" (VNIRO) chaired by the director, Doctor of Economics Kirill Kolonchin, held a Reporting Session on the results of applied scientific research of VNIRO, approved by the state assignment for 2024.
