VNIRO and MGIMO signed a cooperation agreement
On October 13, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) and the Russian Federal Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography (VNIRO).
The agreement was signed by Kirill Kolonchin, Director of VNIRO, Doctor of Economics, and Vladimir Morozov, Vice-Rector for Personnel Policy at MGIMO, Candidate of Historical Sciences.
"This agreement opens a new stage in our cooperation. I am sure that among MGIMO students and graduates there will be those who want to link their future with the fisheries industry. It is very interesting to work in our industry. It opens up good prospects for professional and personnel growth for young specialists. VNIRO today is not only a serious scientific center, but also a de facto multidisciplinary holding company that solves a whole range of diverse tasks. Including in the international arena. We are ready to act not only as a platform for internships, but also as a place of work for future graduates," Kirill Kolonchin noted.
"This meeting gives a start to further work. We are glad that there is a new opportunity for career guidance for students. As a rule, everything starts with an internship, which develops into subsequent employment. The prospects for self-realization that you have outlined are very interesting," Vladimir Morozov stressed.
Before the signing, a meeting was held at which issues of interaction between the key scientific center of the fisheries industry and one of the country's leading universities in the field of education, career guidance and employment of MGIMO graduates in VNIRO were discussed. It was decided that VNIRO representatives will take part in the week of career guidance, which will be held at MGIMO, and students who are interested in the prospect of linking their future with the fishing industry will come to the Central Institute to get acquainted.
