On July 18, employees of the Department of State Control, Supervision and Protection of Aquatic Biological Resources in the Republic of Tatarstan of the Volga-Kama Territorial Administration of the Federal Agency for Fisheries, together with representatives of the Tatar branch of the All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography (VNIRO), as part of monitoring the state of aquatic biological resources and their habitat, collected water samples to assess the quantitative content of microplastics in the waters of the Kuibyshev Reservoir in Kazan.
From July 16 to 22, employees of the Yakut branch of the All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography (VNIRO) carried out monitoring work in the largest lake in Yakutia - Nidzhili.

On July 16–18, employees of the Azov-Black Sea branch of the All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography (VNIRO) conducted an excursion for first-year students of the Academy of Biology and Biotechnology of the Southern Federal University as part of early career guidance for young people, taking into account their individual characteristics and motivation to work in the branch.
